It’s officially Fall in Philadelphia, and we’re gathering up the ultimate Fall bucket list of things to do before the season ends! From pumpkin patches to boozy bar crawls and everything autumnal in between, we’ve listed all the best activities to celebrate the season! Cross one thing off your bucket list and read on to plan your Fall in Philly.
A quick ride outside the city, Linvilla Orchards is the perfect place to spend a fall day with the whole family. Pumpkin picking, hay rides, and apple shooting are just a few of the super seasonal activities offered, along with a new beer garden featuring homemade hard cider! There’s no shortage of delicious treats offered as well, and we highly recommend the cinnamon sugar donuts – you’ll thank us later.
Fall brings incredible flavors that only come once a year, and we have all the best recommendations on where to snag a sugar donut and an apple cider to celebrate the season! Attend the Philly Hard Cider and Doughnut Fest, an all-day affair starting at JJ Bootleggers. With the purchase of a ticket, you can try all the different donut flavors offered, from maple bacon to apple fritter! There’s also brews and beer specials, for those who aren’t a fan of hard cider.
Fall means Birds season, and every Fall bucket list simply has to include going to an Eagles game! Grab your jersey and prepare to tailgate and celebrate at Lincoln Financial Field, the perfect way to spend a Fall afternoon in Philly. As the air becomes crisper and the season gets cooler, make sure to stop in to Xfinity Live! before or after the game for drinks and events!

There’s so much gorgeous scenery to behold in Philadelphia, and Fall only escalates that beauty! Changing trees along the Schuylkill River are a must-see, and we recommend walking along Boathouse Row to take in the sights. Rittenhouse Square and Logan Park are two great inner-city park options to see the foliage, while Wissahickon Valley Park is a much larger, more suburban option. There’s no shortage of bike trails and walking trails to experience Fall in Philly and take in the spectacular scenery.
As the weather gets cooler, it’s nice to warm up and take a day to tour some of Philly’s premiere museums, such as the famous Philadelphia Art Museum! This massive space has everything, including Chinese art exhibits, a contemporary section, medieval marvels, and more. Spending the day at this museum will certainly wow your senses and spice up your Fall season.
