The park is part of Dallas’ Park and Recreation and features a lake, dog showers, a drinking fountain, a shaded pavilion, a six foot wide trail, and even a grill. NorthBark Dog Park is a 22.3 acre off-leash park in North Dallas that also offers a smaller fenced in dog area.

Another one of our favorite dog parks in Dallas is White Rock Lake Dog Park located on the northwest side of White Rock Lake. This 3-acre off-leash dog park features great views, a trail, wildflower areas, water access, and even a dog launch. If your dog loves to swim, the is the place to go! They are close on rain days and Mondays for maintenance, but check their website for hours.

The Colony’s own Pawsome Playground is another of the top dog parks in Dallas. This dog park provides lots of green space to throw a ball and catch up with other four-legged friend owners. With benches for seating, trees for shade, water fountains and separate small and large dog, 35 pounds and up, areas, your pet will get their exercise here.
Grab your leash and head over to Klyde Warren Park with your pup. Inside the park, at the southwest corner of Pearl Street and Woodall Rodgers Freeway, is My Best Friend’s Dog Park. Another favorite among dog parks in Dallas is north Dallas’ Wagging Tail Dog Park, off Preston Road. The 6.9-acre off-leash dog park has both small dog and large dog areas, lots of shaded spots with pavilion seating, water fountains with doggie bowls, and a nature observation platform. The walking trail is six foot wide and will get you both some exercise and fun for the day.
