Chill Restaurant & Bar is the chillest place in St. Pete Beach, for sure! They’ve got great food, awesome drinks, and local live entertainment multiple times a week. This restaurant also serves up some great vegan- and vegetarian-friendly options in their signature New Orleans and French-style cooking. And you can stop by Chill Restaurant & Bar for nearly any meal, from brunch to lunch to happy hour to dinner.
For brunch, order their vegan hash, which is seasoned veggies over breakfast potatoes, or if you’re vegetarian, get their spinach-artichoke and goat cheese crepes or the vegetable omelet. At lunch and dinner, start your meal off with some spinach and artichoke dip, a Margherita flatbread, or brie cheese and warm bread with your choice of sweet or savory toppings.
Get their Beach Burger a la Beyond Beef to make it meatless, or order the Caprese panini or Big Kid Grilled Cheese. If you’re feeling pasta, they’ve got that too! The spaghetti squash has eggplant, zucchini, olives, and fresh marina, and it is oh-so-good. And you can order other pasta dishes without the chicken or seafood for other meatless options, too.
Chill is also a great place if you want to start happy hour early! Stop by from 2PM to 6PM Monday through Friday to indulge in your new fave veggie-friendly dishes and fantastic drink specials!

Italian food can be simple to make vegetarian, and Buona Ristorante makes it even easier. They serve veggie-friendly options at lunch and dinner so that everyone can eat around the table.
In terms of appetizers, it’s vegetarian heaven! Take your pick of bruschetta, cheese bread, fried mozzarella, truffle fries, garlic knots, or fried ravioli. And if you’re still hungry after sampling their starters, go with a simple pasta marinara or cheese tortellini for your meal. Pair that with one of their salads (we highly recommend the Caprese!).
If you’re looking for traditional Italian pizza pies, Buona Ristorante doesn’t disappoint. Stick with a classic cheese or quadruple the cheese with the Quattro Formaggi pizza. They also have goat cheese, white pizza, Margherita, and the Nonna Carina, which is mozzarella and asiago cheeses — plus garlic and a gorgeous spiral of red sauce on top. Oh, and if you’re gluten-free, you can also order GF crust for a small upcharge!

Many Asian cuisines are vegan- and vegetarian-friendly, so Basil Leaf Thai & Sushi is a great place to go for vegan and vegetarian food in St. Pete Beach. From soups and pho to to noodle platters and sushi, this amazing local restaurant has plenty of veggie-friendly options to choose from.
For starters, try the miso soup, the garden salad and the tofu salad (which is so yummy!), spring rolls, edamame, or fried tofu, which is served with a sweet-and-spicy dipping sauce.
Stopping in for lunch or dinner? Try the vegetable fried rice, which vegans can get without the egg, or any of their Thai entrees, curries, or noodles since you can get tofu as your protein. Our favorites include the tofu with fresh ginger sauce and Pad Thai with tofu (again, vegans can go eggless for this dish!)
If you need something sweet to finish the meal, try the Banana Rama, which is tempura fried bananas with ice cream and hot fudge. Or, go with mango sticky rice, a staple dessert!

Head to Skidder’s family restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner to order some of the best vegan and vegetarian food in St. Pete Beach, even if you have to get a little creative.
Breakfast is served until noon, so you can sleep in and still get their amazing pancakes, Belgian waffles, or homemade french toast. Feeling eggs? Grab a quick egg or egg-and-cheese sandwich, some yogurt with fruit and granola, warm oatmeal, or even one of their delectable omelets. Opt for a simple cheese omelet, or jazz it up with spinach, green peppers, onions, tomatoes, mushrooms, and all sorts of yummy cheeses, including Swiss, pepperjack, feta, and Greek sheep’s milk cheese.
For lunch, try one of their salads (sans the meat, cheese, and/or, depending on your preference), and pair it with a soup of the day. Or, go for the Skidder’s Wrap, which is marinated portobellos, red peppers, mozzarella, and sundried tomatoes; just be sure to skip the chicken! Or, get their veggie burger for a classic you know you’ll love.
And for dinner, start with something spicy, like jalapeno poppers, or something equally as scrumptious, their stuffed grape leaves. Choose a pizza with any of your favorite veggie toppings, like eggplant, broccoli (seriously, it’s really good!), mushrooms, onions, olives, and peppers. Skidder’s also has plenty of pasta options that you can order as is or without the meat.

Another delicious Thai restaurant on our list of vegan and vegetarian food in St. Pete Beach is Nori Thai. This must-visit restaurant has all of your plant-based faves, from noodles to pho to veggie sushi.
Yes, we said sushi! They’ve got an avocado roll and a veggie roll that are both scrumptious. But if you’re a pescatarian, you can indulge in any of the sushi rolls and sashimi they have, including our personal favorites, the Philly roll and the Caliente roll.
But if you’re not into sushi, Nori Thai has fantastic starters and entrees that you’re sure to love! Try their Thai spring rolls, which are served with a sweet and sour chili sauce, or fried tofu. Then, dig into entrees like garlic and pepper, pineapple curry, or pad woon sen with tofu or veggies. They’ve also got red and green Thai curry if you’re looking for something nice and spicy.
Cool it all down with some ice cream or try it fried, which is set in a crunchy bowl and topped with whipped cream, chocolate sauce, and a cherry.
