Penn’s Landing sits on the east-most part of Philadelphia just kissing the Delaware River. With views of the Benjamin Franklin Bridge, a glimpse over the river into New Jersey, and endless entertainment year round, Penn’s Landing is one of the best places to spend the day or night in Philly. Liberty Point (BRAND NEW!!)

Make way for the newest restaurant at Penn’s Landing: Liberty Point! LP opened its doors this past week and is more than ready for summer. Sitting beside the Seaport Museum, LP is the largest outdoor restaurant in the city! With delicious light bites, a stage featuring live music and DJs throughout the season, and a killer list of cocktails, wine, & beer, we guarantee this is going to be the spot of the summer.

Independence Seaport Museum

Sitting right next door to Liberty Point is the Independence Seaport Museum! This museum brings together all the history of Penn’s Landing and is always a good time for a nice slow Sunday with the fam. The best part is you can always grab a bite afterwards at LP! Sail into history aboard the oldest floating steel warship in the WORLD, Cruiser Olympia only on weekend days at 2pm and 4pm. It’s a surreal experience that you can only do at Penn’s Landing!

Spruce Street Harbor Park

Driving by Spruce Street Harbor Park at night will make your jaw drop and immediately find a parking spot to head over. This illuminating park at Penn’s Landing features floating gardens, colorful hammocks, the most beautiful night time lights, and delicious food and drinks from a number of Philly’s favorite vendors!

Morgan's Pier

Ok… now we need somewhere to go out. Look no further than Morgan’s Pier! This beloved summer staple is our favorite place to go out on the weekend during the warmer months. Its grand-opening is always highly anticipated and understood as the official kick-off to summer! Morgan’s Pier has the best (and always rotating) frozen cocktails on Penn’s Landing. You’ll have to see it to believe it!

Make sure to bring your ID! Unless accompanied by a parent, all guests at MP must be over 21.

Cherry Street Pier

What was once a century-old municipal pier has transformed into Philly’s creative hub. Cherry Street Pier is a huge public space for artists, vendors, events, exhibitions, and entertainment. This is a community-driven state in it’s purest form.

Lindsay Nathanson

Lindsay Nathanson is a Philadelphian inspired by research, storytelling, and the people around her. Subsequent to graduating from the University of Tampa in 2019 with a B.A. History, she achieved her M.A. in Museum Studies from Johns Hopkins University in 2021. She spends her time collecting newspapers and vinyl, eating any meal in a bowl, and begging Ben Simmons to shoot the ball. In the future, Lindsay will work in collections and/or curation at a women's history museum. Today, she enjoys writing about Philadelphia.
