So, here’s our list of the best bars in the North Side.

Come down to Mike’s Beer Bar and see why Mike’s is where you need to be. Mike, the man himself, is a fourth-generation alcohol entrepreneur and decided to give his family roots a head-first dive. They offer over 80 craft beers on tap and nearly 500 other beers for you to choose from. So regardless of what your drink of choice may be, Mike will be sure to fill your needs. So sit back, stay for awhile and have a great time at one of the best bars in the North Side.

Nominated as the best new bar in Pittsburgh by the Pittsburgh City Paper in 2020 and inspired after a heroic World War Two Veteran, put Leo. a public house on your must-visit list. Where tradition is embraced with a modern twist on this community speakeasy, Leo’s is the place where people get together for a grand ole time. Patrons feel bonded together by good times and even better drinks. This bar in the North Side is your ticket to a great night out.

Located in the historic Victorian district, the bars in North Side have nothing on Monterey when it comes to style. The proximity to PNC Park and Heinz Field, makes Monterey the perfect place for game nights to catch some suds and watch some dubs. Whether it be before or after the game or you just want to enjoy a few after work, don’t be a stranger, Monterey is a great spot.

Monk’s may be located on the steel streets of Pittsburgh, but once you step inside, you’ll feel like European royalty. Located in the Priory Hotel, Monk’s Bar offers a delicate, yet fancy feeling. Being submerged into the European atmosphere is one of the many great thing the Monk offers! This luxurious hotel has beautiful rooms but just as exquisite cocktails being served up, not only to hotel guests but to whoever fancies a drink at one of the most luxurious bars in the North Side.

This East Coast party bar started in New York City, but its journey has reached the gritty streets of the steel city. McFadden’s, has it all, we’re talking drinks specials, live music, DJs, dancing, and more! It may not be native to Pittsburgh, but many natives go there to get down and have some fun. McFadden’s wants you to stop by after every concert, ball game, you name it, because they’re so close you can almost taste the drinks.
