Nothing compares to a trip to your local farmers’ markets to pick up some unique foods and other goods. You can always find surrounding colors of fresh produce, new faces passing by, and the smells and tastes of crisp, natural flavors.

1. Texas Farmers’ Market at Mueller

Farmers’ Market at Mueller offers some of the best local ingredients and products every Sunday morning. Located right in the heart of the new, gentrified Mueller area, this is one of our favorite farmers’ markets in Austin!

We’ve been enjoying their newest addition to the market family, @jeanysgingerelixir, who offers fresh juices made with locally sourced ingredients.

2. Texas Farmers’ Market at Lakeline

The Lakeline market houses many beautiful crops such as burgundy okra and tomato varieties , melon varieties, and lots of peaches! Don’t forget to pick up a beautiful bouquet of flowers for someone you love (like yourself, of course) from @petals_ink.

You can find updated vendor layouts every Friday. They have spaced out the tents at the market to help with social distancing.

3. Barton Creek Farmers’ Market

Located in the parking lot of Barton Creek Mall, enjoy shopping around for fresh melons, locally made oil, and hand crafted jewelry.

They also take pre-orders on their Facebook page or by email if you would like to pick up local goods without attending the market.

4. SFC Farmers’ Market Downtown

? SFC Farmers Market

SFC’s Downtown Market has been killing the game with an abundance of fresh produce and ingredients all in a great location. Check out their sustainably grown tomatoes, okra, figs and peaches.

You won’t be disappointed!

For the safety of the vendors and guests during this time they require you to wear a mask and ask that you consider the market like the grocery store and to get the items you came for and leave rather than hang around. Additionally they ask that when paying vendors you lay your payment down on the table to avoid hand to hand contact. Tents will also be space farther apart to help with social distancing, please note these are not walkways.
