A Story By

Keeping track of every brand-new restaurant in Austin is enough to make someone’s head spin, which is exactly why our team has put together this guide to all the new restaurants that people are loving. These are the best new restaurants in Austin that we simply can’t get enough of!Β

Aba

Think of an iconic rooftop patio for you and your gals to gather, Mediterranean mezze fare, and craft cocktails. I mean it truly does not get much better than that. Aba has quickly become one of the most popular spots for delicious food and drinks that is a must-have on your list of new restaurants in Austin to check out.

They have a multi-level patio, terrace and bar that is perfect to enjoy on a gorgeous Austin day. The menu is full of delicious options for lunch, dinner and even brunch. I would highly recommend trying the Smoky Garlic Hummus, Tamarind Braised Short Rib, Grilled Spanish Octopus and Orange Blossom Crème Brulee Pie.

Some of the most loved menu items are the banana walnut bread, frozen acai, Two Hands seasonal scramble, and chicken schnitzel. There is something for everyone on this menu!

In Downtown Austin lies Little Ola’s Biscuits, a casual takeout shop dedicated to making all things biscuits! Just imagine a biscuit-based sandwich with fillings such as fried chicken thighs with honey; tomato/egg/cheese. We did a taste-test of the best biscuits in Austin, so we can definitely tell you that these are some of the best in town!

They also offer delicious food items such as salads, peach-vanilla jam, honey butter, and house-made chips. My mouth is practically watering just from typing this. They also have other biscuit-dough based dessert goodies so make sure to leave some extra room when ordering.
