Yes, we get scared pretty easily, but that doesn’t mean we want to celebrate a spooky season without an exciting ghost tour! North Florida Ghost Tours are a great way to learn about some of Jacksonville‘s creepiest history. Plus, the Nation’s Oldest City is sure to have some ghostly haunts!

Whether you’re a professional ghost hunter or scaredy cats like us, you’ll want to go on these amazing ghost tours in our area! We’ve created a list of some of our favorite ghost tours, so you can celebrate October with people of all ages… dead or alive!

 

A Ghostly Encounter

Learn about St. Augustine’s historic and frightening past with this non-scripted walking tour. You’ll spend 90 minutes exploring graveyards and darkened alleyways with an expert guide before stopping at the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument!  We recommend grabbing a craft beer from Auggie’s Draft Room and making a day out of it exploring the historic city! This Ghost Tour is one of the most popular in St. Augustine. You join aboard the trolley of the doomed and your Ghost Host shares tales of misfortune and mayhem. You will hear the stories of long-gone residents who can still be seen in numerous locations around the city…SPOOKY!

Tips: You will want to wear comfortable shoes for the walking portion. Also, this tour may not be suitable for children under 13 years of age and is not recommended for children under the age of 4.

Old City Ghosts

The Old City Ghosts tour is an expedition through historic St. Augustine’s most haunted hotspots. You’ll explore both the historical and paranormal sides of each of their tour sites. You will have the best, most chilling, experience on this ghost tour! We would say “see you there” but our eyes might be closed the whole time…

Also, we have some exciting or should we say thrilling news. There are new COVID-19 activities this year! The Haunted Castle tour is an 80-minute paranormal investigation of the Ripley’s Castle after the lights are off.  You will hear about the murders that have happened here, use tools to do some investigating see photos of some of the many spirits that have been caught on film, and hopefully catch some yourself!
