Five hours can fly by so here are our must do’s at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP).
First up, dress up! It’s so much more fun coming in a spooky outfit or fun costume! And you will be seeing so many incredible costumes throughout the night. It is all part of the experience and you won’t want to miss out! Please note: no masks are allowed.
Be sure to check Disney’s Costume Policy here👇
Next up, characters! MNSSHP is the only after hours event where you can meet and take photos with some of your favorite characters or villains so you will definitely want to make this a priority!
Pro-tip: you can get in as early at 4PM so it’s a perfect opportunity to get in line for must-see characters like Jack and Sally.
The Sanderson Sisters take center stage in front of Cinderella’s castle with all their villainous friends for a show you wouldn’t dare to miss! It’s truly like Hocus Pocus come to life with incredible singing and performances by characters you will only see at this event.
Pro-tip: see the last showtime for a smaller crowd and so that you can do everything else before!
It’s really not sooooo scary…or is itThis parade is one of the best Disney has to offer and guests have two showtimes to soak in every spook during MNSHHP—8:15PM and 11:15PM.
Pro-tip: we suggest seeing the second parade for less children and a better spot. You can get a great spot right after the fireworks, too!
One of the most spooky and magical night time fireworks takes place right in front of the castle just ONCE during MNSSHP so we highly recommend seeing this BOOtiful spectacular at 10PM. It’s also your chance to see a very tall Jack Skellington who leads you through a ghostly tale you won’t want to miss!

No Halloween is complete without doing a little trick-or-treating. At this party even the adults can stock up on their fave candies like Snickers and Starbursts! Stop by the different treat trails for a sweet surprise—and no there’s no limit to just how much candy you collect throughout the night!
Worried about an allergy No problem! If you have a food allergy, see a Cast Member to pick up a teal-colored treat bag. You will be sure to get allergy-friendly treats along the way.
Parades, fireworks, and more, you won't want to miss these spellbinding shows!
This year’s looking frightfully good with a few new fun offers you will want to check out! First up, inspired by Descendants: The Rise of Red, head over to the dance floor at Rockettower Plaza stage for a DescenDANCE Party throughout the night! Next up, we have some new characters added to the lineup inciting Mirabel and Bruno making his first appearance at the party. You can meet them in the Fairytale Garden!
MNSHHP wouldn’t be complete without taking a pitch-black ride on Space Mountain set to some killer tunes or becoming the 100th haunt over at the Haunted Mansion where you might see some special characters in the graveyard! Short wait times is something that makes this event even more fun!
And we can’t forget the food! Once the event begins at 7PM, see many menus swap to special spooky options. Check out the full foodie line up below!
