We had to include this course, since it’s one of the top 100 courses in Florida. And it was designed by golf legend Arnold Palmer. You bet we’d drink an Arnold Palmer if we were lucky enough to get an invite to play here. Because that’s right – this is a members only course. But it’s gorgeous enough that you should keep an eye out for a friend who might score you an invite.
Pro Tip: This course is designed with the Florida water in mind – so there’s plenty of water hazards. But with water comes gators, so don’t wander too far off the beaten path.

There are two golf courses at World Golf Village – and they boast some famous designers.
The King & Bear is the only golf course in the world that was co-designed by Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus. Fun fact – Palmer was nicknamed “the King during his career and Nicklaus was called the “Golden Bear” moniker.
This course was co-designed by architect Bobby Weed along with Hall of Fame Members, Sam Snead and Gene Sarazen. You can tee off from right under the World Golf Hall of Fame tower.
Pro tip: You can enjoy lunch or dinner at Legends Grille at World Golf Village. It was designed with the Slammer and Squire course in mind, so there’s stunning views of the course while you eat!
