Take it easy with your dog at the Austin Beer Garden Brewing Company! This warehouse-esque beer garden features house microbrews alongside pub bites like pizzas and sandwiches. It’s casual, dog-friendly, and the perfect spot to enjoy live music on a Saturday night in the beer garden.

2. Bangers
Your dog’s going to want a bite to eat just as badly as you once they smell the incredible sausages at Bangers. This casual spot features homemade sausage, craft beer, pig roasts, beef jerky, pickled vegetables, and more in a rustic-chic cottage with a leafy beer garden out back.

3. Central Machine Works Brewing
Central Machine Works Brewing is one of our favorite spots to take the pup. The indoor-outdoor flow they have is perfect for any time of year. They have the most delicious section of beers and they also serve up some of the best cocktails! The pizza or burgers are to die for. They are also always hosting something, so no matter when you show up, there is probably live music, a movie, or an event.

4. Yard Bar
Yard Bar is made for dogs, literally, making it one of our favorite spots to take your dog in Austin! This dog park is a place that humans and pups will all love, featuring sandwiches and cocktails for the people and pet treats for the pets. Let your dog run around in the dog park while enjoying your food and drinks at the picnic tables under the shady trees!

5. Austin Eastciders Taproom
Austin Eastciders offers some of Austin’s finest ciders, and at the taproom, you can get a taste of the greatness in every flavor! This cidery and tasting room features year-round and seasonal flavors in pints, flights, or 6-packs to go. Plus, the patio is dog-friendly and features live music and games, making it the perfect spot to bring your friends on the weekend!

6. Zilker Park
You know we couldn’t write this guide and leave Zilker Park off the list! This 361-acre park is one of Austin’s most well-known hotspots, being home to Austin City Limits Music Festival and the Austin Kite Festival. When these major events arent happening, Zilker Park is the perfect place to play or relax with your dogs and get the cutest pictures!

7. Barton Springs
Right down the road is another famous Austin spot perfect for your pups on a weekend! Barton Springs Pool is an outdoor swimming pool filled with water from nearby natural springs! It is three acres in size and will be packed with people on any given summer weekend. Cool off with your dog after time at Zilker Park at Barton Springs Pool!

8. Auditorium Shores
Enjoy a stunning view of the Austin skyline while playing fetch or relaxing with your dog at Auditorium Shores. This spot often features outdoor concerts, festivals, and other events, but on a normal day sports tons of open grass space to enjoy!

9. Ann and Roy Butler Hike and Bike Trail
If you enjoy exercising with your dog, whether that be running or walking, you must check out Ann and Roy Butler Hike and Bike Trail! Located right in the heart of Austin, this 10-mile trail features gorgeous views of the skyline and wraps around Lady Bird Lake. Sit by the water and enjoy the view or get active and let your pup enjoy the outdoors!

10. Rainey Street
Rainey Street is a must-visit for all Austinites and visitors, and we’re going to include all dogs in that list! From bars to food trailers to restaurants, Rainey Street is an adorable street with craftsman houses turned into local businesses, string-light covered patios, and people and dogs relaxed and happy!
