While most museums would encourage you keep your hands to yourself, MOSH (Museum of Science and History) invites guests to experience their museum through hands-on interactive experiences. Take a walk through one of their many exhibits including Coastal Creatures, Native Plants, or Outer Space and learn about our world. This is one of the most immersive museums in Jax, so don’t be surprised if you’re there all day!
Head to the Downtown Jacksonville Riverfront to experience the Jacksonville Naval Museum. Tour the USS Orleck. This ship, a Gearing Class destroyer with 18 battle stars is the most distinguished since World War II. With the 3rd largest concentration of the US Navy in the nation, this is the perfect museum to encapsulate the City of Jacksonville.

MOCA has one of the most extensive collections of contemporary art of any museums in Jacksonville, with both a permanent collection as well as a selection of rotating exhibits to explore.
