It’s no surprise that one of our favorite things to do in Jacksonville is in fact, exploring Jacksonville! From discovering new coffee shops, restaurants, events and things to do – we’re always searching for new ways to experience our beloved city. Of course, one of our favorite activities is enjoying the beautiful murals in Jacksonville. Stretching from Downtown Jax to Riverside, San Marco, Springfield and even the beaches, there are so many beautiful works of art around every corner.
We gathered some of our favorite Instagram-worthy spots and murals in Jacksonville that you can strike a pose in front of the next time you’re out and about.
You’ve probably driven by these three beautiful butterflies the last time you were downtown. Known as ‘Triad,’ this breathtaking work of art was curated by Art Republic Global and can be found on the building that hosts medical volunteers. Located on the corner of Talbot Ave and Park St., this is one of the few murals in Jacksonville painted by multiple artists! The vibrant scene includes everything from ocean-blue waves and even the Memorial Park sculpture. The perfect stop on a walk with your kiddos – or just the next time you’re exploring the city.

It wouldn’t be a real roundup of murals in Jacksonville without the one and only Jax Beach Postcard mural! Snapping a pic in front of this mural is better than sending an actual postcard – and if you’re a longtime local, a photo in front of this friendly sea turtle is a nice reminder of where you live.

Located in (you guessed it) Murray Hill, this colorful design is a warm and cheerful greeting waiting to say hello as you enter the historic town. Measuring 80-feet in length, this is the perfect place to snap a pic with your Vagabond Coffee! Honestly, it would be weird if you didn’t.
Plymouth Street | Murray Hill
Murray Hill is the place for murals it seems. Home to some of our favorite murals in Jacksonville, this tropical mural is located right across the street from Dreamette! Stop by this mural to brighten your day and to remember an important lesson – to Grow!

One of our favorite areas of Jacksonville, Springfield has won over our hearts with an array of parks to explore, unique and delicious restaurants to try, tasty coffee shops, bars and more. So, of course Springfield has a colorful mural waiting to greet all that visit. Dubbed the ‘Welcome Mat of Springfield,’ this is one of our favorite murals in Jacksonville for obvious reasons – it looks like it’s straight out of a storybook!
