If you are in Houston, you’ve probably noticed Dish Society’s are popping up everywhere. And we are here to tell you, it’s for good reason. We thoroughly enjoyed the spacious patio on a sunny Sunday with a flight of colorful mimosas and a menu that begs us to return. With absolute certainty, we confess that everything on this menu looked superb. Not a single item on this list would we turn down – not one!

I am typically very skeptical of cajun restaurants in Texas, cause come on… they just can’t make gumbo like Mama! But that is not the case at the Rouxpour. With over 1,000 reviews and a 4.4-star rating, I swear on my mama’s shrimp and grits you won’t be disappointed.
The Rouxpour is a New Orlean’s style eatery where they serve up chargrilled oysters, fresh seafood, and most importantly for us–brunch. Try their fried eggs and boudin, or their cajun omelet. Pair it with their signature bloody or mimosa. Laissez le bon temps rouler!
