Not only can you get mouthwatering birria tacos with savory consommé sauce, but you can also try birria nachos! The only thing better than birria tacos are quesabirria tacos! We know it may be hard to imagine something tastier, but seriously – cheese just enhances the already incredible flavors. Taco Libre offers regular birria tacos, too, but we seriously recommend trying the quesabirria tacos for that ultimate ooey-gooey cheese pull and double-shelled deliciousness!
This incredible Mexican restaurant started as a food truck before opening its doors in 2019! They also won The Best Street Tacos in Jax at Taco Fest in 2019. When their doors first opened, they had lines out the door to get their famous birria tacos. They are worth the wait and you’re going to want to head here ASAP to get yours.
Tip: they now have BIRRIA TACO PIZZA. Don’t walk, run!
904 Tacos has a fun, high-energy vibe and a flavorful menu! It’s also family-owned and operated. We love everything from the birria tacos, shrimp tacos, outdoor seating, burritos, and their HUGE menu to choose from. It’s the perfect night out! And they are located right on the corner in Five Points, so it’s easy to spot. Check them out and take a photo on their wings mural wall! Plus, their birria tacos are delicious!
Happy Taco Feliz is another amazing place to find birria tacos and you can find them in their food truck! They serve up some of the best street tacos in Jax and the service is always so fast! You MUST try their Mexican street corn as well. This is a local favorite.
