We had to start our day with some caffeine so we visited the GulfPerk Coffee Bar first. Afterward, we walked over to the Gulfport Brewery + Eatery for drinks! They had a ton of different drinks and beers on tap as well as a huge outdoor seating area. They also have some flagship beers including the Gulfporter and the Gulfport Gold!
Next, for lunch, we went to the Neptune Grill for some authentic Mediterranean and Greek food. If you only get one thing from here, make sure it is the Saganaki!
Finally, don’t skip the “Let It Be” ice cream shop! It’s adorable in there and the delicious ice cream is perfect for when you’re strolling around Beach Boulevard. Gulfport is a fantastic place to spend an afternoon in Tampa Bay and we can’t wait to go back soon!
After exploring the shops and grabbing a bite to eat, sit back and relax on the small Gulfport beach at the end of beach blvd.
The Gulfport Art Walk is filled with every art imaginable. This experience happens on the first Friday and the third Saturday of every month.
Be sure to put on some screen if you plan to be outside! You can rent a kayak and explore the waterways at Clam Bayou or take a sailboat out at the boat club in the Marina District.
Most of the bars and restaurants in Downtown Gulfport have live music and a lively crowd dancing the night away.
Most of the dining options are outdoor seating on the patio. Although, you can find plenty of shaded areas and the sea breeze feels great.
