Our Day in St. Pete Beach
St. Pete Beach was an absolute dream! We had to start our day with some coffee so we stopped into Grove Surf + Coffee. We loved grabbing a coffee and doing a bit of shopping since they’re a retail shop too! We highly recommend getting their toasted coconut latte because it was phenomenal. Next up, we grabbed an early dinner at PJ’s Oyster Bar. It was such a fun and friendly atmosphere in PJ’s and we even spoke to PJ himself! All of our dishes, especially the seafood, were delicious and so fresh. Then we headed to Postcard Inn Beach Bar! Obviously, because we live in Florida, we had some afternoon showers, but not even the rain could keep us down after we got some refreshing Pina Coladas. Finally, when the rain stopped, we went to the beach which was a perfect way to end our day in St. Pete Beach!

St. Pete Beach was named Tripadvisor’s number 1 beach in the U.S. in 2021 and if you’ve been, you can see why. There’s nothing like putting your toes in the sand and breathing in some ocean air. If you like to shop, check out Corey Avenue Market on the weekend which is full of a ton of amazing local vendors. Walk along the beach and find a bunch of great bars and restaurants like Jimmy B’s. If you’re in the mood for a little staycation, soak up an ocean view at one of the hotels right on St. Pete Beach…there are a ton to choose from!
“St. Pete Beach is my go-to when I want to catch some rays and clear my mind. When I go, I stop in at Bongo’s for some coconut shrimp and a piña colada first, then I lay out for a few hours and jump into the water to cool off. My favorite thing about St. Pete Beach is the sunsets. I always try to make my way to the rooftop of the Bellweather Beach Resort for the best view of the sun going down.” – Jenna, Stuff to Do in Tampa Bay
