Our Day in Lakeland
We visited the Polk Museum of Art for its wide variety of exhibits, galleries, and art collections to start our day. Best of all, this museum had free admission! Next, we always need some caffeine, so we had to make a stop by Concord Coffee. Their iced coconut latte was fantastic! We get so many questions about this colorful mural whenever we post a picture, so we had to pay it a visit to grab a few pictures! It’s right behind Haus 820 and will definitely be a standout on your Instagram feed.
A trip to Lakeland wouldn’t be complete without grabbing food at The Joinery! This modern food hall literally has something for everyone, no matter what kind of food they like.
Finally, we ended our trip by walking through Downtown Lakeland and grabbing some drinks from Revival! Revival is a craft cocktail bar with an extremely unique and creative menu. Our drinks were all so delicious and also gorgeous to look at!

Named after the 38 lakes found around the community, Lakeland is filled with rich Florida history, endless art, and plenty of natural beauty! It’s impossible to list all the amazing things you can do in Lakeland, but the Polk Museum of Art, Bok Tower Gardens, Explorations V Children’s Museum, and Barnett Family Park are just a few. Lakeland is also home to one of our favorite places in Tampa Bay, The Joinery, which is a modern food hall, but there are so many other wonderful restaurants and bars to choose from!
