Warm weather DOES help, but that’s not all that draws many to visit the live music capital of the world. With plenty of nature excursions, live music, food trucks, and a lively bar scene, there are plenty of things to do in Austin with family and friends. We’ve got a diverse sector of neighborhoods and plenty of parks where you can freely stroll and discover the natural beauty and quirks of this eclectic city.

Austin is situated within many different Green Belts that all seem to intersect with each other making the city a giant greenspace of exploration. Even when you find yourself strolling downtown you’ll find yourself taking a break at any of the parks that surround Lady Bird Lake.
